the 'new normal' State is in denial

The guv's goal: to spark a backlash, such as this week's march on the state Capitol by parents, students and teachers, that would pressure recalcitrant Democrats and aion gold Republicans in the Senate to relent and agree to raise more revenue. If the past is prologue, don't be surprised if it works -- but at what cost?

Time, for one. Michigan today is all about defining the "new normal," whether people and politicians are aion kina prepared to admit it or not. It's about an evolving reality that reflects the economic step-down wrought by the bankruptcies of two Detroit aion kinah automakers and numerous suppliers, nearly a million jobs erased in this decade, plants closed, corporate headquarters relocated, a once-enviable way of life changed permanently.

Yes, the predicament stinks, which is why an understandable response continues to be delay, delay, delay. Essentially, that's a aion power leveling reaction similar to what Detroit's automakers and their union did in the face of a clear and growing competitive threat.
